The 1% sales tax (aka Penny Power) is an effective means of taxing ourselves to support the needs of our communities (Gillette and Wright) and Campbell County, Wyoming. The projects develop our infrastructure, improve our services and continue to enhance the quality of our communities. These projects create jobs, employ local workers and provide a mechanism to promote economic development in our area. Here are the agencies supported by Penny Power (as of 2016):
