Did you read the Gillette News Record article that talks about Campbell County’s district grant program that is paid for by the 1% sales tax?
“Campbell County’s district support grant program, the only one of its kind in the state, helps those who help themselves.
The program, which has been around for nearly 30 years, allows improvement and service districts to apply for grants to improve their infrastructure from street sweeping and dust control to upgrading a water system to hook onto the regional water, and it’s paid for by the Optional 1 Percent Sales Tax.”
