Penny Power funds the Boys and Girls Club!

The Boys and Girls Club of Campbell County was featured in the Gillette News Record. The Boys and Girls Club receives $119,500 from the Optional 1% Sales Tax, which among other things, helps keep low membership and daily visit fees.

Taken from the article: “A lot of that success is thanks to the continued support from both the city of Gillette and the Campbell County Commission, Collier said.

Between the two entities, the Boys & Girls Club will receive $119,500 from the Optional 1 Percent Sales Tax in the coming budget year… Collier said the $119,500 is a significant chunk of its operation and makes up about one-fifth of the club’s entire budget…

Like many nonprofits in Gillette and Campbell County, it would be doom and gloom without the Optional 1 Percent Sales Tax, he said.”
